Lumigan Eye Drop

Lumigan Eye Drop is utilized to medicate certain types of glaucoma and some other inceptions of high pressure inside the eye. It is also used to amend length, fullness and color of the eyelashes in people with a state called hypotrichosis (HYE-poe-trye-KOE-sis), which is a deficiency of eyelash growth. The medication is a prostamide, a synthetic constitution analog of autacoid with optic hypotensive action. It selectively imitates the effects of naturally occurring matters, prostamides. Lumigan reduces intraocular pressure (IOP) in humans. Raised IOP presents a major hazard factor for glaucomatous field failure. The higher the extent of IOP, the greater the possibility of visual field loss and optic nerve damage.
Indication: For the diminution of elevated interocular pressure in patients with ocular hypertension or opened angle glaucoma who are bigoted of some other intraocular pressure reduction medicines or inadequately respondent to some other intraocular pressure lowering medicines.
